Marc performed recently in this year's annual “Beethoven and
Blue Jeans” concert in Muskegon, Michigan.  The casual dress,
late February concerts subtitled “Catch a Rising Star” featured
Marc performing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No, 1 with the
West Michigan Symphony, under the baton of guest conductor,
Bohuslav Rattay.  Following the concert, members of the
audience stayed for  “casual conversation” with Marc and
conductor Rattay.  Muskegon's MLive
review called Marc, the
Michigan symphony and Rattay "a perfect combination"!

A free workshop was hosted by Marc for local piano students,
parents and teachers on Wednesday, February 24th at Grant High
School’s Fine Arts Center in Grant, Michigan.  Marc performed
solo at the piano, discussed his career and took questions from
the audience.  A slideshow of photos can be found on the
Muskegon Chronicle web site.  Also enjoy these recent

WORLD EXPO 2010 EXHIBIT IN SHANGHAI TO FEATURE MARC
Marc has been searching for ways to help Haiti ever since the recent devastating earthquake.
Recently a 9-year-old friend from New Jersey, USA, invited Marc to join him on a Haiti benefit
project on Youtube that was organized by his family and friends.  Marc jumped at the chance to
participate!  The project is a global effort by talented young pianists to raise awareness and
funds for continued support for Haiti Relief.

Within days, 10 top young pianists (age 7-14) from 7 different countries and 4 continents, joined
the cause.  The group consists of world-famous young musicians, top winners of prestigious
national and international competitions.  Combined, this group of talented musicians have
nearly 11,000 Youtube subscribers and 22,000 Youtube friends.

This diverse group of kids came together in a virtual collaboration to perform one piece - the
Chopin Nocturne in C# Minor.  Through this beautiful and healing piece, they call for global
attention in their own native languages for continued support for the Haiti Relief effort.

They plan to set up a special Red Cross page for donation as well as call for donations to local
Red Cross.  They will use their combined strong Youtube influence to help raise awareness that
Haiti Relief needs our continued and immediate support.

We will include a link to their special Red Cross donation page as soon as it's on-line.  We thank
you for joining in to help them in their humanitarian efforts!
