The Ellen DeGeneres Show
age: 7 years 1 month
I have so much fun on Ellen's show! I talk
about my hero Lang Lang, a few hilarious
jokes, and plays a new piece of music,
Rhythms from The North Country. I even
befriend the composer, Gwyneth
Walker,(www.gwynethwalker.com) after
she has watched the show herself!

Meeting with Lang Lang
age: 7 years 0 month
I had the wonderful opportunity to
meet with one of the musicians that I
love and admire the most --- Lang Lang.
He invited me and my mom to have
dinner with him and his father Guo Ren
Lang. What a great birthday gift! He was
extremely nice and friendly, and I look
forward to enjoying his performance in
Hong Kong later this month.

Sea Island, Georgia
age: 7 years 1 month
I participate in the
Gifted Child Program
for the SeaIsland
Company in Sea Island,
Georgia, sponsored by
Cookie Magazine. I play
two concerts there,
both of them a sold out.
It is a great experience for me and the audience. At
the second concert, most of myaudience are kids,
some of them from a youth symphony in the nearby
area. It is such an important part of me to be able to
inpire other people and to be inspired by others. I
hope to give more concerts like this in the future.
What I also enjoy a lot during my stay there is the
incredible friendliness of the people in Georgia. I
meet a lot of new friends. I also try horseback riding
which is SO MUCH FUN. In my spare time, I also enjoy
the beautiful beaches there. You can visit
http://www.seaisland.com to find out more. I want to
thank Cookie Magazine and all the wonderful people
at Sea Isalnd Resort to make it happen. I want to thank,
my friend and my accompanist, Armena Marderosian,
for making great music with me. Please check out her
website http://www.suniproject.org/ They have some
great Armenian music and history you can find there.

Master Class with Jane Bastien
age: 7 years 1 month
I am selected to play for Jane Bastien at her master
class in Costa Mesa. I remember my first piano book
was by Miss Bastien and I finally can play for her! I
learn at lot from her and from the other two players.
